Khanya Project employment & tertiary support

“Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do.” ~ Nelson Mandela

Bitou10 Foundation is pleased to introduce the Khanya Project, which focuses on providing tertiary and employment guidance and support to learners from historically disadvantaged backgrounds in the Wittedrift area of Plettenberg Bay.

Unemployment plagues our youth and this is mainly due to a lack of guidance and skills in acquiring employment. Affordability also plays an enormous role and many of our youth are faced with a dismal future due to the lack of funding and support.

The Khanya Project aims to empower and motivate our youth to follow their dreams and to pursue their goals by offering the following support:

  • CV writing skills
  • Do’s and Don’ts of interviews
  • Body language in an interview setting
  • Tertiary applications
  • Bursary applications for tertiary studies
  • Matriculation re-writes
  • Technical college applications
  • Life coaching
  • Computer literacy skills

The project provides the necessary guidance and skills, ensuring employment in Bitou for our youth.
