We're excited to share the wonderful moments from the formal handover of our mobile library, sponsored by AVBOB and Oxford University Press SA, to Mrs. Marlene Koekemoer, the Principal of Kranshoek Primary!

This incredible trolley library, filled with 500 Afrikaans books aligned with the CAPS curriculum, is set to transform the reading landscape for our students.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this possible! Special recognition to Sooneela Naina, our amazing B10F Manager, for having applied on behalf of the Bitou 10 Foundation in the first place.

During the handover, Vijay Moodley, our B10F Director and Head of Libraries in Bitou, thanked the school staff, principal, Bitou 10 Foundation and Bitou public libraries with assisting in establishing a school library.

He emphasised the importance of collaboration and that the Bitou Libraries are committed to providing ongoing support and training to ensure that this school library becomes a thriving resource for learning, not just an asset. 

As we gear up for the 2025 school year, we're excited to work closely with the teachers and staff to make the most of this fantastic opportunity for our children. Together, we're paving the way for a brighter, more literate future!
